Cooling network boosted

EMIRATES Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) has begun the third phase of the 70,000 refrigeration ton (RT) district cooling network for the Bay Square within Business Bay in Dubai.
This is part of its move to provide integrated district cooling services for the entire Business Bay project. The company had earlier announced the completion of two phases of the project – with 50,000 RT – which include the Executive Towers and the towers area that overlooks Sheikh Zayed Road from Emirates Airlines building extending to the rear of the Executive Towers.
Empower provides energy-efficient district cooling services to Business Bay along with other projects including large-scale real estate developments such as Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai Healthcare City, Jumeirah Beach Residence and City of Arabia.
