Irish firm wins contract

BAHRAIN’S Diyar Al Muharraq has appointed Irish engineering company Jennings O’Donovan and Partners as the primary infrastructure designer to the Diyar Al Muharraq development off Muharraq.

The Irish firm will be key to the delivery of primary infrastructure through its role in the design and supervision of the main arteries throughout the development site including highways, bridges, water supply, wastewater, irrigation, electricity and telecommunications. Built over an area of 12 sq km, Diyar Al Muharraq will be Bahrain’s biggest mixed-use residential urban development when complete.
