COMMAND Alkon, a premier provider of software and hardware solutions for readymix concrete, concrete products, aggregate, asphalt and cement producers, will be showcasing its world-leading products at The Big 5 Saudi in Riyadh next month.

Visitors will be able to see Command Alkon’s Commandbatch, Precision Water System (PWS), Commandseries readymix dispatch solution and other products in operation at its stand, says Michael Wilson, a spokesman for the company.

Commandbatch is the industry’s leading plant automation solution that enhances plant performance, simplifies concrete production, and delivers cost savings to the average readymix concrete producer.

“On December 14, 2011, Command Alkon proudly delivered its 5,000th Commandbatch system to the industry,” says Wilson.

In early 2011, Bahrain-based Delmon Readymix upgraded its batching system to Commandbatch and also installed Command Alkon’s PWS and plant watcher automatic notification system to improve the quality and consistency of the concrete delivered to its customers.

Later in the year, Delmon returned to Command Alkon as its vendor of choice for its readymix dispatch solution, Commandseries, which Delmon identified as “a perfect fit for its needs, offering a complete quote-to-cash solution, including shipping, dispatch, stock control, and interfacing with its current concrete plant automation software and accounting software.

“Delmon also chose to install, Commandperformance, Command Alkon’s business intelligence solution using IBM Cognos, which easily tacks on to Commandseries, to provide detailed management reporting and data analysis tools that offer a deeper understanding of the performance of your business and allow you to make daily and long-term decisions with accurate information,” says Wilson.
