SAINT-GOBAIN Gyproc’s plasterboard plant in Abu Dhabi, has marked a major safety milestone, notching up 1,000 days without a single lost-time accident (LTA).

The achievement, as of February 23, 2012, marks a complete absence of LTA at the state-of-the-art plasterboard plant, since its opening in April 2010.

“The company’s intensive safety training programme, events and activities have instilled a culture of health and safety at the plant,” said Paul Button, managing director.
