In the limelight

01 October 2012

FOLLOWING its successful participation at last year’s Big 5 show in Dubai, Reynaers Middle East will return this year with its portfolio of exhibits that highlight its continued focus on sustainability and durability.

“We will use this opportunity to strengthen our ties with our clients and establish new ones as well, and will ensure that our presence will be well noticed this year,” says Ali Khalaf, managing director of Reynaers Middle East.

Early this year, the Bahrain-based company joined the global efforts being made by its parent company Reynaers Aluminium, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable architectural aluminium solutions, to strengthen its brand positioning in the market. These efforts entailed the launch of a new communication campaign that focused on its new powerful brand signature ‘Together for Better’.

Khalaf ... customer focus.

“Client relationships are highly valued by Reynaers Aluminium which reflects the company’s motto, ‘Together for Better’,” he says. “One of our greatest strengths is our dedicated team that listens intently to customers’ requirements by understanding the project, anticipating the expectations, and following the specific requirements.”

Reynaers also keenly focuses on the ‘green’ building concept that aims to reduce mankind’s environment impact through energy conservation and usage of materials that are sustainable and durable.

“Two words – sustainability and durability – are watchwords in today’s world and gaining more attention as mankind moves towards conserving our beautiful planet. At Reynaers, we believe in sustainable and durable products,” says Khalaf.

He says the Middle East market is still in its infancy when it comes to actively adopting the ‘green’ building concept, “but we can see a healthy start and much enthusiasm in this part of the world”.

Reynaers Middle East has played a significant role in creating greater awareness of the company’s energy-saving systems by being a regular participant in major international and local exhibitions, enabling it to contribute to the environment and provide information to clients who wish to achieve the same goal.

The company offers well-tested systems with high standards for thermal, air, water and wind performance developed by Reynaers Aluminium. A selection of these systems will be showcased at The Big 5 among a wide range of windows and door, curtain-walling, sliding and folding, and sun screening systems, conservatories, skylights, and systems to incorporate blinds and ventilation grids.

Some of these well-tested systems include the CS 86-HV, a multi-chamber aluminium system that combines aesthetic design, optimal stability and high thermal comfort; CW 60 Solar, an aesthetically-pleasing high-tech green curtain-walling solution, that is described as being ideal for wall and roof application; and CW50 SC, a structural clamped curtain-wall façade and roof system that offers virtually unlimited creative freedom, while allowing maximum light through the building façade.

Also on display will be Ecosystem, a high-performance aluminium system that combines aesthetic design and high energy efficiency with a Uf-value of 2.2 W per sq m K. This system meets the latest thermal insulation requirements and allows the fabrication, production, and assembly of windows and doors in a remarkably faster time, says Khalaf.

The CP 130 Hi Mono Ventalis, meanwhile, is a monorail slide/lift and slide system which is integrated with Reynaers’ Ventalis solution to provide with a wide choice of designs, to enhance design, comfort and insulation.

Established in 1965 and headquartered in Duffel, Belgium, Reynaers Aluminium is a truly global company with sales offices in over 30 countries and exports to more than 60 countries spread across five continents.

“As such, it leads by example by contributing to the environment by limiting energy consumption in new and existing buildings through the development of energy-efficient façade concepts,” he says.

“The inspiration and the drive to develop this concept came by working together with and understanding the needs of investors, project developers and architects along with the standards set by the various governmental and regulatory bodies,” Khalaf adds.

Reynaers can be visited at Zabeel Hall, Stand D116, at The Big 5.
