Protile to give event a European touch

01 April 2018

Encouraged Enby the response it received at the Gulf Construction Expo last year, Bahrain-based Protile Designer Pavings is returning this year to showcase its new products.

The company will have at its stand a new tri colour paver and granite paver (Protile Trio and Granitto), says A T Biju, general manager of the company.

Also showcased will be the GrandX series of pavers, which includes the GrandX Mono, GrandX Trio and GrandX Battetto. These have square- and rectangle-shaped patterns that evoke a charming European touch, says Biju, adding that each of these new patterns is produced in seven colour blends and give a beautiful, durable surface.

Protile Designer Pavings is a recently established manufacturer of exterior and interior paving stones in Bahrain. It not only manufactures and sells quality paving stones, but also carries out installation.  The company is now eyeing the GCC market.

Protile products boast several advantages including dimensional accuracy, and greater thickness, strength and durability, supported by creative designs. The dimensional accuracy of Protile’s paving systems is one reason why these wet cast stone products are considered superior, says Biju.

“Dimensional accuracy not only ensures an easier, neater installation but also guarantees strength and longevity once installed,” he explains.

According to Biju, the usual thickness recommendation for heavy-traffic areas is 50 mm. And while many manufacturers sell 40-mm-thick pavers, Protile’s pavers are manufactured at 60 mm as standard, with other thicknesses available on request.

Protile is well equipped with modern machinery and skilled technicians to ensure fast delivery of pavers. Its products are tested and are readily available from the factory in Bahrain at an affordable price.

Biju says the market is changing and people have started using decorative and unique types of pavers for their exterior and landscape areas.

“Our company is focusing on the high-end market as our products are suitable for luxury villa projects and high-end commercial developments,” he says.

The company is excited to be at the Gulf Construction Expo as the event draws a large number of visitors from the construction industry, he says. The company even clinched some deals as a result of its participation at the event last year.

Amongst the projects Protile has worked on are Durrat Al Bahrain, Swiss-Belhotel, and Bin Faqeeh developments.

Protile Designer Pavings will be at Stand GC P1 at the Gulf Construction Expo.
