600 exhibitors to put on a show at Interiors UK

01 January 2013

Interiors UK 2013 is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before, offering retailers, designers and architects a vast selection of products from more than 600 of the leading international interiors manufacturers, according to UBM, the organiser of the event.

The UK’s longest-running interiors show is set to open this month (January 20 to 23) at The NEC, Birmingham.

Modern retailing is the overarching theme for the 2013 show with many beautiful retailer display areas curated by a mix of designers throughout the show and main entrances. UBM indicates that this year’s guest designer is interiors legend Nina Campbell, who will be creating the entrances as well as hosting a feature space in Hall Three.

The year’s event will see the return of designersblock, which will be using its creative talent to create a totally new store concept, brand and identity – the designersblock department store. This giant feature will include a variety of departments featuring furniture, accessories, toys, lighting and lots more, all sourced from designersblock’s vast network of young designers and design makers.

The area will also house the regular features of the show such as New Design Britain, Birmingham City University, Interiors UK’s Seminar Theatre, the VIP lounge and press office.
