Saudi Energy set to showcase technology

SAUDI Energy 2013 aims to serve as the largest and most specialised energy exhibition targeting the specific requirements of the market in Saudi Arabia, which is planning to invest more than SR502 billion ($133.85 billion) on energy and water projects in the next 10 years.

To be held this month (May 26 to 29) at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the exhibition will be attended by exhibitors from Austria, Bahrain, China, Germany, India, Canada, Czech Republic, Egypt and France, Italy, Korea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the UAE. There will also be country and national pavilions from China, Korea, Romania, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Khaled Daou, project manager of  Saudi Energy at Riyadh Exhibitions Company, said: “Saudi Energy has increased in size as well as in number of exhibitors and visitors each year as it provides the only dedicated platform that gathers all stakeholders of the energy sector to showcase the latest technological advances in the energy sphere.”

The 16th in the series of international trade exhibition for electricity power generation, alternative energy, water technology, lighting and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), the event will provide a comprehensive technology showcase covering all energy sectors from electricity generation and distribution to alternative and renewable energy technologies; modern lighting products and technologies; water and water resources management technologies; and HVAC.

Four top energy-related shows will be part of Saudi Energy 2013 – Saudi Elenex, the 16th international electrical engineering, power generation and distribution exhibition; Saudi Luminex, the 13th international lighting equipment show; Saudi Aircon, the 14th international exhibition on air-conditioning heating, ventilation and refrigeration; and Saudi Water Tech, the 10th international exhibition for water technology.
