THE third edition of SBID International Design Awards, one of the most prestigious events in the design industry calendar, is expected to surpass the previous editions in size and diversity with a brand new website, judges and categories.
The awards recognise excellence in design of not just super-luxury projects but also innovative design and new talent on limited budgets. The 14 categories are split between residential and contract sectors, and range from entertainment space, transport, product and public space to visualisation (3D renderings), interior design projects under $75,000 and kitchen, bedroom and bathroom spaces.
The entries will be showcased at the World Design Event in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from September 5 to 7 and the winners will be announced at the SBID awards ceremony at The Dorchester hotel in London on November 29.
