MORE than 162 exhibitors from across 25 countries took part in Aluminium Middle East 2013, the leading exhibition for aluminium products, technologies and investments in the Middle East, held in Dubai, UAE.
Held last month (April 23 to 25) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC), the event gathered more than 3,000 trade visitors from 70 countries, said organiser Reed Exhibitions.
The 2013 edition underlined the Middle East and North African region’s rapidly growing role in the global aluminium industry, highlighting investment plans in new smelters and expansion of existing capacities by the regional market players.
A major highlight of the event was a new B2B business matching programme that facilitated networking between exhibitors through an extensive database of business contacts and companies from across the region and the world.
