KUWAIT-based leading Islamic property developer Al Zamil International Real Estate Company has begun construction work on its BD13-million ($34 million) new housing project called Durrat Al Areen, following an official ground breaking ceremony.
The housing project, part of the flagship Al Areen Development in Bahrain, will include 128 super-deluxe villas and is scheduled to be completed in the middle of 2015. The project will cover an area of more than 40,000 sq m and will be centrally located within the development.
“These new villas will help us recognise the potential that new capital can in stimulating the economy of Bahrain,” said chairman and managing director Musllem Mohammed Al Zamil.
“Durrat Al Areen’s 128 villas consist of three types – villas in type A will comprise four bedrooms; Type B, four bedrooms; and Type C, two bedrooms, all equipped with the premium facilities,” said Mohammed Al Sarhan, contractor and project manager.
