SAUDI Ceramic Company, a leading manufacturer and supplier of ceramic tiles, sanitary ware and water heaters, has boosted its green credentials with new eco-friendly products and processes which help save water and conserve energy.
These innovations include an ergoniomically designed three-litre WC (western closet) which saves more water compared to standard six-litre WCs, energy-saving smart technology in its range of electric water heaters, and green-friendly digital tile printing technology.
Saudi Ceramic Company’s sales turnover rose to SR1.447 billion ($386 million) in 2012, an 18.5 per cent increase over 2011 while producing 60 million sq m of tiles, 30,000 tonnes of sanitary ware and 1.5 million electric water heaters.
It plans to increase production capacity to produce two million water heaters by 2015 in addition to 330,000 tonnes of red brick in 2014.
Working in partnership with Grohe, Geberit and Sloan, the Saudi company supplies more than 50 countries with innovative sanitary ware, ceramic and porcelain tiles, electric water heaters concrete drainage pipes and plastic potable water supply pipe systems.
