Dolphin issues EPC tenders

Abu Dhabi-based Dolphin Energy Limited (DEL) has invited contractors to prequalify for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works on an onshore gas plant and compression facilities to be sited at Ras Laffan in Qatar. It has also invited EPC contractors to prequalify for work on offshore pipelines, jackets, wellhead platforms and receiving facilities, forming part of the company's development of Qatar's North Field.
The company hopes to build the Gulf's first cross-border pipeline from gas-rich Qatar to Abu Dhabi.
The last date for submission of documents for both the prequalification invitations is July 31. Contractors may bid for a single package or any combination of packages on each tender.
The gas processing plant will have a gross capacity of about 2.6 billion cu ft per day.
