Work starts on The Greens

Emaar Properties has launched a new residential apartment project at the Emirates Golf Club on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai,UAE.
The new development project - named Greens - will be open to both local and expatriate investors on a freehold ownership basis, said Emaar chairman Mohammed Alabbar.
Under the first phase, the project will have 700 one, two and three-bedroom apartments spread across 14 new buildings. Work on the buildings has already begun and they should be ready by March 2003.
The development comes soon after the success of the first phase of Emaar's Dubai Marina project, under which 1,500 residential apartments in six towers were sold to local and expatriate investors.
