A local firm has won a contract to build the new premises of the Qatar Scientific Club. The QR17.7 million ($4.86 million) building will be sited on a area of 5,500 sq m, which is part of a total 47,000 sq m of land allotted to the club in the Misaymir district near Doha, Qatar. The client is the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture.

The work should be completed by August.
