Georg Fischer piping systems in the limelight

More than 140 people attended a recent seminar in Bahrain on products from Georg Fischer Meter Piping System.
The seminar was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Manama by the local agent Al Tawfeek Maintenance Services.
The delegates were from various ministries, consultants, architects, specifiers and major contractors. The gathering was addressed by senior officials from Georg Fisher and Al Tawfeek.
Switzerland-based Georg Fischer has 28 manufacturing units spread all over the world with 18,000 people on its staff. The products are especially used in water distribution, electrical transmission, hospitals, pharmaceuticals industries, aviation and major industries.
Georg Fischer is among the list of agencies held by Al Tawfeek's recently-established New Products Division. Its other principals include Marshal Tuflex from the UK (cable management systems), and Dyka from Holland (underground drainage products). Al Tawfeek is involved in a range of activities including civil construction and maintenance; and tanker, high-pressure water jetting, cleaning, air-conditioning and pest control services.
