Ewan Residences first phase a sellout

01 July 2004

The first occupants of the Ewan Residences project in Dubai are due to move into their apartments by April 2005.

The first phase of the three-phase Ewan project, which consists of 26 residential complexes was launched this March, and the 26th residential complex was sold out in mid-May making it a complete sellout.
A total of 75 residential complexes have been envisaged under this project with each complex made up of 10 two-bedroom apartments and two one-bedroom apartments. The residences are being offered on a 99-year lease at very competitive rates.
“We are proud of this great achievement in the first phase,” said Saleh Saeed Lootah, executive director of Lootah Real Estate Development. “Our project is unique to this region and has become a trendsetter in the booming real estate market in the UAE. The Ewan project presents us an ideal platform from which we can expand our presence in the real estate sector through a number of projects that are in the pipeline.
The superb location of Ewan, which is being established in the Dubai Investments Park, is a key factor that has caught the attention of companies. The project is near the Jebel Ali Free Zone, and in close proximity to the proposed $5 billion Dubailand theme park, right in the heart of Dubai’s fast-growing economic growth corridor in an area that is being called the ‘New Dubai’.
Ewan is also a short distance away from major development zones established by the Government of Dubai including Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City, in addition to a string of five-star international hotels that are located nearby.
The beautifully landscaped development will be a secure, gated community that will include a recreation centre and several community facilities including play areas for children, swimming pools and a jogging track throughout the complex.
Many top retail outlets will open at the specially created shopping area that will have a suq-like atmosphere to allow residents to experience the finest traditions of the region.
