Qatar has granted a lease on a prime waterfront piece of real estate to Journey of Light (JOL), a British firm based in Jersey. Under the contract, JOL will be granted a 99-year full concession lease on the 180-acre parcel of real estate.
A local firm has won a contract to build the new premises of the Qatar Scientific Club. The QR17.7 million ($4.86 million) building will be sited on a area of 5,500 sq m, which is part of a total 47,000 sq m of land allotted to the club in the Misaymir district near Doha, Qatar. The client is the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture.
