Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) has launched a new system for engineering consultants to gain online access to its building permit process.

According to officials, ePermit enables engineering consultants to apply for and obtain building permits for any development project within the various business units under the purview of the department, via the Internet.
The ePermit portal provides useful links to civil engineering department (CED) construction regulations, submission requirements, and location maps of various departments, contact numbers as well as a FAQ section.
