Al Hamad Contracting Company has awarded contracts worth BD2.1 million ($5.5 million) for procurement of lifts, precast elevation panels and fire fighting installations at Bahrain’s landmark Abraj Al Lulu.

J A Zayani & Sons will procure Otis lifts, Eastern Precast Company the precast elevation panels, and Bhatia and Company the fire fighting installations.
The project’s developer, Dadabhai Group, says the key agreements have come at a time when work on the project is progressing ahead of schedule.
The four Otis lifts in each of the three towers have been designed for high-speed operations.
