Philips to light up sports arenas

Philips, a world leader in lighting, will provide the Arena Vision floodlighting system in five of the largest sports stadiums across the UAE.
The stadiums, some of which have already been completed with the new Philips floodlighting, represent some of the most popular sports venues in the emirates: Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, and Al Nasr, Al Wasl, Al Ahli and Al Shabab stadiums in Dubai.
The projects are being handled by Philips' agents Al Ghandi Electronics in Dubai and Gulf Electronics Company in Abu Dhabi.
The latest deal follows two others signed earlier this year in Qatar.
Arena Vision is a revolutionary lighting system designed to dramatically increase the theatrical and emotional values of sports for TV audiences, spectators and players alike, according to the manufacturer.
