Dubai Lifestyle City to enter next phase

Construction work has begun as per schedule on the Dh2.4 billion ($653.7 million) Dubai Lifestyle City project located at Dubailand.
A flagship luxury project of the ETA Star Group, the project is expected to be complete by September 2009.
“Grading works are nearing completion and we expect to move on to the levelling and the infrastructural development phase soon,” says a spokesman for the developer.
Covering an area of over 4 million sq ft, Dubai Lifestyle City will create a self-sufficient lifestyle community surrounded by five-star and four-star hotels, destination spas, sports academies, fashion, art, theatre, shopping and other amenities, that will be digitally connected to each other.
A 100,000 sq ft shopping mall will cater to the shopping requirements of the residents, offering the finest brands under one roof.
The project will also have 68 JW Marriott-branded villas, Tuscan-themed villas and 120 villas, all designed in a way that replicates every single detail of Tuscany architecture, the spokesman adds.
