Schnell Group, a world leader in the production of rebar processing machines, has strengthened its presence in the Gulf area with the recent opening of a new branch in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah.

Schnell has come a long way, since the installation of its first cutting and bending plant in the UAE 14 years ago. The company has been involved with some of the largest and most challenging engineering projects in the UAE including the Dubai International Airport, where its systems were used to process rebar required in the massive piling works.
“Schnell’s leading position in the market as well as its attention to service quality has led to the decision of opening a local branch,” says a company spokesman. “The new office, Schnell Gulf, will enable the company to meet the growing expectations and trust of our clients,” says the spokesman.
“Hamriyah Free Zone is the perfect place as it will allow us to interact with the regional markets and enable us to play an important role in the support of the emerging Indian market as well,” says the spokesman.
Schnell Gulf will play the role of an after-sales technical centre responsible for trouble shooting, after-sales service and installation of new machines.
“In order to ensure the best possible service, we intend to have a large inventory of spares. Along with this, the centre will be manned by a team of resident technicians with great experience in this sector who have the required skills to take troubleshoot most of the problems.
“Through opening this new branch, Schnell has accepted another challenge: to become a point of reference in the Gulf area,” the spokesman concludes.
